Air Blast EXR2 Doors

Our Air Blast EXR2 doors represent our highest level of blast protection, available in both single and double-leaf configurations. These doors are constructed from two 2.0mm thick galvanized steel sheets, cold-formed to create a protective shell. The hinge side features an additional conical steel plate that disperses the blast wave, providing superior protection. The internal structure features specialized steel profile reinforcements with mineral wool filling between profiles for enhanced protection. The doors feature rebates with seals on all four edges and are mounted on four ø22mm bearing-equipped hinges. The frame is constructed from either a cold-formed C-profile or L-profile with a seal groove and includes a 20mm high threshold. Three anti-forcing blocks protect the hinge side. These doors can be installed as external or internal doors, opening both inwards and outwards. The blast resistance is guaranteed only from the hinge side.

Double-leaf variant features:

• Manual flush bolts on the passive leaf • Coordinated leaf closing sequence • Maximum clear opening dimensions: 2470mm x 3000mm

Single-leaf variant features:

• Maximum clear opening dimensions: 1254mm x 3000mm

Basic equipment includes:

• Internal mortise lock certified to EN 1637 class 7 • Anti-burglary bolts • Steel pull handles on both sides • Proprietary explosion-proof armor on both sides

Optional equipment:

• Additional class 7 lock • Security class 5 bolt with padlock (corrosion resistance class 3) • Bolt locking mechanism with open position lock-out • Sealing kit

Applications include:

• Military, government, diplomatic, and police facilities • Research laboratories with explosion hazards • Industrial facilities (petrochemical, nuclear power plants) • Explosion risk zones with potentially explosive atmospheres (gases, dusts)
